Are we up to par?

If the legislature has no sufficient knowledge expertise and skills to pass enactments, are we up to par?
If the executive has no relevant experts and heart to carry out the entrusted functions, are we up to par?
If the judiciary has no competence and courage to impartially carry out its enforcement functions, are we up to par?
If the society has no consideration but cruel, are we up to par?

We claim that we are living in an advanced and developed society, having well-educated background, yet we are not considerate, conscienceless, have no relevant skills knowledge and skills to carry out our functions, worst still, partiality exists everywhere, barbaric acts re-emerge, cruel and violent acts getting severe...We seem to have backslided while human rights are recognised and upheld at other parts of the world. We really need to give it a thought, are we up to par?
